Job Description: We are seeking driven and detail-oriented research interns to join our investment team. This program offers a direct value investing    experience in Rome Capital’s full research process. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with North American and European public company executives to understand their strategies and operations
  • Conducting primary research through expert interviews, site visits, and data collection
  • Building financial models and drafting investment theses for potential opportunities

Requirements: Ideal candidates should possess:

  • A very strong passion for value investing
  • Creativity in researching new businesses and identifying primary data sources
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with experts and management
  • A foundational understanding of value investing principles, competitive advantages, and corporate finance
  • Preferably an MBA or MS student
  • Commit a min 10 hours per week

Additional Info: This internship will provide invaluable experience:

  • You will be provided individualized training in all aspects of fundamental research analysis directly from the firm’s portfolio managers
  • The program will feature explicit guidance and instruction to help students with the goal of completing an interview-ready stock pitch
  • Interns will have direct interactions with C-suite executives and industry experts, and will be expected to provide actionable takeaways and insights to the team
  • We may work with the student to secure appropriate academic credit for her/his internship via independent study
